      Wowza!

Asthma costs Americans $106 billion a year????

Our family of 5 (4 with asthma) have spent money on:

🔷 Primary care doctors (if it takes too long to get into the specialist) 👨‍⚕️
🔷 Asthma specialist 👩‍⚕️
🔷 Asthma inhalers
🔷 Vials of albuterol for the compressor (some call it a nebulizer)
🔷 Nebulizer kits
🔷 Spacers (for controller inhaler and reliever inhaler)
🔷 Asthma biologic
🔷 Allergy medicine (controlling our allergies helps control our asthma) 💊
🔷 Allergy nose spray 👃
🔷 Allergy serum
🔷 Administration fee for allergy shots 💉
🔷 Oximeter (to check oxygen levels)
🔷 Urgent Care visits
🔷 ER visits (not common) 🚑
🔷 Hospitalizations (did you know you can make payments on your medical bill?) 🤑

Some years are worse than others. I'm looking at you COVID!

The last time I had COVID, I needed supplemental oxygen for 6 months.

Yes, SIX MONTHS!

Have you spent a lot of money on asthma?

What did you spend it on?
