We also got to strip off LOTS of wallpaper, including the ceiling and closet of our room! Target, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc all have curtains you safely wash. Check the label-but most are fine unless you have beaded trim. There are a variety of colors and textures. Have fun shopping! I wasnt a fan, but i was also too lazy to pull them down! Finally I did! Wow what a difference that made in that room! We have not put up curtains in there-for this reason-washing them! So its good to know you can actually find ones you CAN wash. I have not looked too hard, but it seems like i just thought you couldn't! So I LOVE this post and TIP!!!! Thank you!
